I am a versatile graphic designer with a rich, interdisciplinary background in art and design. My journey began with a Bachelor's degree in Art Education, where I developed a strong foundation in both art theory and practice, honing my artistic sensibilities. Driven by a desire to deepen my expertise, I pursued advanced studies in Interaction Design in the U.S. and later earned a Master’s degree in the UK, focusing on independent and experimental design practices.

Throughout my academic and professional journey, I've seamlessly integrated theoretical knowledge with hands-on experience. During my gap years, I served as an art teacher and design advisor, further nurturing my artistic intuition and technical skills. This unique blend of creativity, technical proficiency, and innovative thinking empowers me to consistently deliver impactful designs that address diverse creative challenges.

A Line Which Forms a Volume 8 (Symposium)

DATE : 2025
CATEGORY : Communication Campaign • Visual Documentation
MEDIUM : Digital Post

The ALWFAV 8 team, the largest yet, includes members from over five countries, united by a master's program in London. Their collaboration blends diverse perspectives, shaping their approach to work, thought, and design. The symposium will feature talks, discussions, and reflections by MAGMD graduates and practitioners, exploring design and research beyond traditional boundaries.

As part of the team, I was responsible for creating promotional content for the symposium’s social media presence. I documented the entire process, capturing and editing images to visually narrate the journey leading up to the event. My work helped engage audiences and amplify the symposium’s reach through compelling visual storytelling.

A Line Which Forms a Volume 8 (Publication)

DATE : 2024-2025
CATEGORY : Publication • Editorial Design
MEDIUM : Offset Lithography • Printed at Print Finishing Department at LCC
COLLABORATION WITH : MA GMD team (My role : Graphic Designer, Production leader)

The 8th edition of A Line Which Forms a Volume, an annual design publication from the MA Graphic Media Design course, explores the concept of ‘ refraction’ as a means of facilitating and understanding design, research, and collaboration. Created over ten months, this publication examines how, as designers and researchers, we use the lens of refraction to expand beyond institutional frames and their restrictions, embracing the changes and shifts in our understanding of graphic design, design education, and design discourse. It focuses on how knowledge and experiences can be fragmented and redirected for greater understanding.

Future Ruins

DATE : 2024
CATEGORY : Publication • Poster • Editorial Design
MEDIUM : Offset Lithography • Risograph Prints • Digital Print • Laser Cutting

‘Future Ruins’ explores the complexities of gentrification or redevelopment in London’s Elephant and Castle. It captures not only the physical restructuring of spaces but also the profound social, cultural impacts that accompany these changes. Utilising the concept of ‘future ruins’, it reflects on past memories and envisions the future through 3D-rendered images, showing how today’s redevelopment will eventually become tomorrow’s ruins.

As an outsider, this project adopts a relatively objective perspective on the area, while challenging the simplistic narrative of urban development. By employing a psycho-geographical methodology, Future Ruins presents various visual expressions, including photo collages, to encapsulate these dynamics.

MAGMD Show 2024

DATE : 2024
CATEGORY : Poster & Leaflet (420mm x 590mm) • Identity Design
MEDIUM : Offset Lithography • Printed at Print Finishing Department at LCC
CLIENT : MAGMD at LCC
COLLABORATION WITH : Li-ting Wang

For the 2024 MA Graphic Media Design final show, I designed the poster and leaflet that showcase the students’ final projects and event details. The concept behind the design draws from the dynamic nature of our creative process—akin to a game of Ping-Pong, where ideas are constantly exchanged, challenged, and refined through discussions with peers, tutors, and external inspirations. This back-and-forth rhythm is visually and experientially embedded in the leaflet, encouraging viewers to interact with layers of information in a way that mirrors our design journey.

Hello Kitty Cures My Depression

DATE : 2024
CATEGORY : Publication
MEDIUM : Risograph Prints
COLLABORATION WITH : Lauren Housden • Kealani Espinda • Evie McNulty

Nostalgia wraps us in comfort, but it can also hide deeper emotions. For many young adults, revisiting childhood symbols is both a playful rebellion and a coping mechanism. Beneath the warm lies a complex relationship with these objects and their past meanings. This book explores the balance between childhood comfort and adult chaos, showing how we incorporate pieces of our past into our present. Nostalgic imagery in adult life can blur the line between reclaiming joy and avoiding reality, sometimes serving as a shield against stress, anxiety, or unresolved fears of growing up.

The Liminal Edge

DATE : 2024
CATEGORY : Zine (100mm x 140mm) • Poster (297mm x 420mm)
MEDIUM : Risograph Prints

This series of posters and zines delves into the intriguing intersection between liminal spaces and the concept of the uncanny valley. Liminality, representing transitional or in-between phases where boundaries blur and identities shift, is juxtaposed with the uncanny valley, the eerie sensation elicited by objects or entities that appear almost human but lack certain realistic qualities.

Through this project, I visually and conceptually explore how these two phenomena intersect and influence one another, prompting viewers to contemplate their parallels and contrasts. These works were featured at the 'International Zine Fair 2024', where a dedicated stand showcased and sold these pieces, allowing for direct engagement with a diverse audience.

What is out of doors?

DATE : 2024
CATEGORY : Poster (297mm x 420mm) & Caption (148mm x 210mm) • Identity design
MEDIUM : Screenprint • Digital Print
CLIENT : MAGMD at LCC
COLLABORATION WITH : Li-ting Wang • Shreya Joshi

"What is Out of Doors (Work in progress show 2024)” is a dynamic and collaborative project, showcasing our journey as MA Graphic Media Design participants. At its core is the metaphorical pool—a shared space where ideas and critiques ripple through our collective efforts. The highlight of our work includes a striking screenprinted poster, which used diving board as a visual and conceptual jumping-off point.

We meticulously crafted captions in a cohesive tone, complementing the overall theme by printing them on blue paper. Additionally, we documented the Work-in-Progress (WIP) show, capturing moments and sharing them with captions on social media platforms, further engaging our audience and extending the project's reach.

‘Bright Side Goods’ is a company that offers products for the home that are made from recycled materials or up-cycled materials. The company's mission is lowering our carbon footprint and supporting local artisans. Customers will be invited to create a profile where they can save their preferences about materials and to create a wishlist of products. On the other side of the retail stream, customers can donate items for recycling and receive discounts on future purchases depending on the value of the materials donated. My aim is to create a cohesive brand as well as a useful and responsive shopping platform.
